Firstly I would like to thank God for everything...

Overall if I was to reflect on my advanced portfolio I would say there were areas that were stronger than others. In my opinion my ancillary texts were stronger than the main product, this may be due to the fact I was slightly ambitious and unrealistic in terms of time constraints when initially thinking about what I wanted to do in my film therefore when it came together it didn't collate as expected and certain scenes were excluded and what not.
Audience feedback was in surplus during my advanced portfolio, one method I used to collate feedback was an editing log in which I asked people what they thought about something I recently editing got feedback and preceded to work on that scene or scenes some more. This was good because it was easier to get a lot of peoples feedback at once rather than showing them whole film. Based on audience feedback it was evident people found it easier to give feedback via survey monkey than face to face unstructured interviews.
Audience feedback was important because it helped me keep track of my progress and instill necessary changes, it overall suggested that people understand the main message of my film which was self love and confidence but the main catfishing aspect although was more explicit and obvious towards the end of the editing process, it could still be even more explicit.
If I was do my short film again, I would be more experimental in regards to location as majority was filmed inside a house and I would experiment more with abstract shots like a canted shot because I feel they would be perfect to connote feelings especially one of a character like mine who was more depressed and sad.
