Raw Footage

There was a lot of footage left on the cutting room floor from the first day and half of filming as I had changed my storyboard half way through therefore there was scenes I filmed at the start that weren’t needed later on in the editing process for example I filmed Megan reading and studying on her bed before she reads an inspirational quote from the bible about self-love however I later decided I didn’t want dialogue therefore this scene was never used in the editing process. Other than that, I didn’t have any pointless scenes left on the cutting room floor because I had done through planning into what I wanted for example the use of a location recce, this meant I had more space to film things multiple times and this was left on the cutting room floor especially when I edited my jump-cut in the opening scene of Megan’s reflective walk home.
