“how effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?”
This highlights that majority felt the combination of my main product with ancillary texts was effective in showing the same brand identity however some clearly feel more could be done to the main product or the ancillary texts to effectively portray it’s part of the same product. If I was to improve everything in order to showcase the unity of brand identity more, I would put my productions logo on all everything.
Although 66.67% would still associate my poster with my film if there is a lack of the actor, some said they wouldn’t whilst others were unsure, which tells me that due to having one cast member audiences still primarily connect that face automatically if they see it on a poster, indicating my protagonist was essential in highlighting brand identity.
Evidently, the theme of self-love and acceptance showed the most in my main product, which is good because that is my main message therefore; the fact my audience was able to grasp tells me I was able to achieve my aim of impacting my audience and making them an active audience. My poster showcasing self- love is good as well.
Audience feedback overall suggests the colour of the poster makes it attracting and is what connotes feelings and meanings to the audience. The positioning of the character furthermore suggests themes to the audience. Overall the all seem to agree the poster is effective in enticing viewers to watch the film.
Majority believe my review is mostly professional and accurate picture of my film, this suggests that maybe I’ve been too lenient or nice with my comments as it is my review or I should have expanded more at the bottom about the negatives instead of just mentioning one or two.
Generally, my poster seems to be more persuading in getting people to watch my film this suggests that my review may be too lengthy or visually not enticing enough however those that selected my review makes me understand that my review has enough detail about the film in regards to plot, camera shots, etc as if it didn’t they wouldn’t feel inclined to watch my film after reading the review. If I was to improve my review I would use more vibrant colours and more interesting screenshots from my film.
