Insert shots were essentially part of my film, because my film explores confusion of identity and whole red herring aspects to my film therefore insert shots of various body parts kept a sense of mystery to the film

Insert With the time lapse scene, I did not have change the angle of the camera throughout the whole filming, and filmed it from an high angle with a wide shot so I have a lot to work with when editing and the element of transitioning from day to night is highly evident by increase of people and traffic/cars going by.

I knew beforehand that I wanted to include the element of jump-cutting in my film therefore, I took lots of shots from various angels ranging from close ups to extreme long shots and wide shots of the same scene or same direction so it would be easy for me to edit it.

I took close-ups from a side profile because I didn’t want any shots to be too zoomed in on her face but I wanted it to be close for the audience to take in her facial expressions. I did not take extreme close ups because that want the look I was going for but when I wanted the audience to focus on her use of facial expression especially in scenes where she is conversing with Dan, I use close ups from a side angle/high angle or medium close ups.
